Mayor Bryant called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. and stated there were no reportable actions from Closed Session. 

Roll Call found the following members present: Mendoza, Meyer, Pierson, Oerlemans, and Mayor Bryant.  

Mayor Bryant led the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Mayor Bryant opened the public comment period following a presentation by Christine Andrews, Assistant Finance Director.

Nick J. Canata provided comments and concerns regarding the Summerset sound wall. 

There being no one else wishing to speak, Mayor Bryant closed the public comment period.

    By Motion, the City Council provided the following direction to staff: 

    Juneteenth event funding to be fully sourced from the General Fund, improvements to Homecoming Park and Windsor Way Park to include resurfacing of basketball courts and exploring lighting opportunities, move up Windsor Way Park improvements to 2024/25, create a fully funded Equity Officer/ Equity Analyst position, reconsider the timing of the General Plan Update, put aside $800,000 for potential sound wall updates at Summerset, and move down the Aquatic Complex Locker Rooms Remodeling project.
